Watercolour for Improvers 2025 with Chas Wood.

The popular monthly painting course for those who have some experience, with the flexibility to suit those who wish to work Online or @ Patchings. Those who meet @ Patchings also have access to the Online presentations and if your preference is Online  there is email support and the option of a monthly Zoom session.

At the conclusion of each monthly session all participants’ work is shown on our Online Gallery, accompanied by a video review discussing progress. This feature and the sharing of work is considered an important part of our learning.

There is an additional option to become an “2025 Art School Member” aimed at those who value continuing the monthly sessions through the year, with a discounted course fee of £230 for all 12 monthly sessions for 2025.

Enrolment and Course Details.

The cost as described is £85 per term or £230 for all 12 monthly Sessions.

This will include additional opportunities such as invitations for to private openings to our key exhibitions next year.

Exploring the British Landscape – £85 per term.

There is so much to enjoy about our countryside, something we take on board for the Summer season. We plan to explore in depth certain aspects landscape painting, homing in on those parts that often present the most challenges. In addition to the dates below, we aim to add a number of optional plein air sessions, in order to add to the experience!

AUTUMN SESSIONS ONLINE

On the Water – £85 per term.

A title that conjures up so many variables when we consider water and its setting.  As such this is certain to provide a huge variety of painting opportunities. Stream, river, canal, lake and sea, let alone waterfall, rapids, reflections and waves. With so much choice – there will be so much to learn and enjoy.
