Summer at Patchings

An online course will be delivered through a series of web-based sessions designed for those who have some knowledge of Oil Painting. A welcome introduction giving suggestions for basic materials needed throughout the course and an opportunity to ask questions before we begin.

The course comprises of 3 Sessions - 1 session will be released each month (Dates shown below) including the resources required to complete the session, this will include both written and video instruction.

Session 1 will be released on Monday 22 June, work to be finished and uploaded for gallery and review preparation by 13 July
Session 2 will be released on Monday 13 July, work to be finished and uploaded for gallery and review preparation by 3 August
Session 3 will be released on Monday 3 August, work to be finished and uploaded for gallery and review preparation by 24 August

A form will be available on the Course Home Page where you can ask the Tutor or easily send your picture for review.
The course includes an online tuition Video Review as a class collective and support between sessions if required.

Online Art School Oil Painters Gallery and Review dates -
Session 1 : Onwards from Saturday 18 July
Session 2 : Onwards from Saturday 8 August
Session 3 : Onwards from Saturday 29 August

Please note that all paintings will be identified using first names only.

This administration sounds very official, but the important aim is that you enjoy your art in the company of fellow painters, and we’ll share our work learning from each other.
